Sara BARBOSA DA ROCHA is a professional photo retoucher based in London working across global advertising campaigns with a refined, detail-driven approach to image-making.
Born in Portugal, raised between French and Portuguese influences, she lived in Paris before relocating to London over a decade ago. This cross-cultural journey has deeply informed her sensitivity to image, aesthetics, and storytelling — blending precision with instinct, structure with emotion.
After working independently for a couples of years, she joined INK, a leading post-production studio, where she spent several years developing a high level of technical precision and visual consistency, collaborating on premium editorial and commercial projects until December 2025.
Alongside this experience, she have collaborated on editorial and commercial projects such as Vogue, Man About Town, Numero, Cap 74024, Grazia, Style or Numero as well as campaigns for brands including Charlotte Tilbury.
Now fully freelance, she focused on new collaborations and creative explorations. Her approach is subtle and detail-driven — enhancing what’s already there, adding the quiet refinement that allows an image to truly resonate and ensuring images meet both creative and technical expectations while respecting deadlines and brand identity. Her work aims to create timeless, polished visuals that resonate within the luxury and fashion landscape.
In addition to this, she is currently training as a digital technician, allowing her to contribute more closely to the photographer on set. This includes supporting photographers during shoots, managing image workflow, and providing on-set retouching when needed — ensuring visual consistency and efficiency from capture to final image.
